THE IEDTA CAREER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The IEDTA Career Achievement Award has been designed to recognize and reward outstanding accomplishments in the field of Short-Term Dynamic Therapy.

The award honors the lifetime work of a gifted therapist-researcher-theoretician, who has made outstanding contributions to STDP and continues to teach and make a difference in the understanding and practice of short-term therapy today.
The members of IEDTA and the Southern California Society for ISTDP are proud to announce their selection of the first recipient in this category – Dr. David Malan, DM, FRCPsych.

A founding father of STDP theory, Dr. Malan will receive the IEDTA Career Achievement Award at the September 2005 IEDTA conference in Los Angeles, California.
