IEDTA is providing this encrypted, secure user-friendly website for all Housing Reservations. Housing Reservations All housing reservations must be made online via this conference website. All reservations made on or before September 2, 2005 are guaranteed at the conference housing rate. Requests for housing after September 2, 2005 are subject to availability of rooms and prevailing rates. A credit card is required to make a housing reservation. About UCLA's Accommodations Housing for the IEDTA Conference will be located in Sunset Village, one of UCLA's newer residential communities, and is adjacent to the meeting space, for your convenience. All accommodations are non-smoking, and feature single or double occupancy rooms (two twin beds in each) with private baths and the following amenities: High Speed Internet Air conditioned In-room Telephone Alarm Clock Daily Maid Service Color Cable Television with remote control 24-hour Front Desk with Faxing and Photocopying Services 650-seat residential restaurant The housing package includes breakfast and lunch in a residential restaurant, in a market-style dining atmosphere, where meals are buffet style and all-you-care-to-eat. Breakfast includes an omelet bar, waffles, eggs, breakfast meats, and other hot and cold dishes as well as assorted breads, pastries, and fresh fruit. Lunch entrees include grille options such as burgers, homemade pizza, hot daily special entrees, a bountiful salad bar, and plenty of delicious desserts. Guests also enjoy complimentary access to recreational facilities, including tennis courts and swimming pools. These suites have two bedrooms, each with two double-beds, and a bath shared by the two rooms. Therefore, a family of two parents and one or two children would reserve this type of accommodations. These rooms have been reserved on a first-com-first-served basis for parents with children. A maximum of two people are allowed for each room. Single Occupancy Rate in one of the two bedrooms, including breakfast and lunch per person: $105.00 per night Double Occupancy Rate in one of the two bedrooms, including breakfast and lunch per person: $130.00 per night (For example, the cost for a family of two parents and two children would be $260.00 per night. This example is for two rooms, each double-occupancy). HOUSING RESERVATION DEADLINE: September 2, 2005 The deadline to guarantee rates is September 2, 2005. After this date the room rate cannot be guaranteed and will be offered on a space available basis only. Payment Information: All payments will be processed in U.S. dollars only, and are subject to the current exchange rates. Housing Reservations will not be processed without payment. Cancellation/Refund Policy: No refunds will be given for early departure or late arrivals. Before September 2, 2005 refunds will be issued for the amount paid less the cost of a one night stay. After September 2, 2005 no refunds will be issued. Insurance Information: Neither the Conference Organizer nor UCLA can accept responsibility for accidents that could occur. Parking Information: Parking cost is $8.00 per day for a 24-hour period from 7:00am-7:00am. Thus a parking permit will also be required on the day of check-out. RECREATIONAL FACILITIES Sunset Canyon Recreation Center This outdoor, park-like facility features two swimming pools -- a 50-meter lap pool and a shallow, 25-foot long family pool.
